The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the price was reasonable. It’s pet friendly, and pets stay free. I liked having laminate floors instead of carpet for the dogs. We’ll remember our swimming suits next time.

The floors were dirty even after housekeeping came in, and the towels were so small they wouldn’t work for a child. I found myself with dirty feet after a shower. They also enter rooms without warning to check on guests. I’ve asked them not to come in, but they do anyway. Once I returned from breakfast and found them in my room. Parking passes are easy to forget, which could get your car towed, and the potholes in the lot could damage it. My room smelled a little moldy, and I’ve had a stuffy nose the whole time. The AC barely works, Wi-Fi is poor, and there are hardly any outlets. The old keycards are another headache. During my two-night stay, I had to walk to the office twice within 10 to 20 minutes because neither card worked. They weren’t working well at check-in either, taking six or more swipes each before the door light turned green. I walked back to the room for a second time tonight, and both cards failed again. My kid came with me, and my dog was left waiting in a hot car for the second time. Rianna, who said she didn’t need to wear a name tag, blamed me for the card problem. She was the only person I saw without one, and the only one I saw close the office when she went on break. She said the card must have been left by an electronic device, which she claimed was the explanation they’d give, but the back outer magnetic stripe was visibly worn. In my view, the cards are being reused long after their stripes stop working. A newer card, a working door battery, and a reservation correctly put on that card shouldn’t cause these problems. Rianna didn’t apologize and told me I wasn’t welcome back after I said I’d speak to her manager. Her customer service was poor, she lied to customers, and avoided taking responsibility. She shouldn’t be in a customer-facing job and is hurting the business. The motel is cheap, but the service is poor. My first impression is that there’s a reason for the low price. The keycards need replacing, and I’ve read too many reviews describing similar problems. The nicer reviews may simply be from people who haven’t had trouble yet. They’re too quick to dismiss customers instead of addressing the issues. Mark my words, this Motel 6 will go out of business.

For what it costs, the room was good, though a bit smaller than rooms at similar motels. Mine had no fridge or coffee maker, but there were vending and coffee machines plus a small microwave near the office. Lots of food stores and restaurants are nearby. The service was great. My room was clean and I got fresh towels every day. Thank you, and wishing you all the best.

The pool was closed by the health department, and the room was humid with a cigarette smell, lol. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need decent rest.
