The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast setup was a thoughtful touch: bagels, different jellies, yogurts, and a coffee station with a choice of creamers and flavorings. Our room was in a beautiful historic house, decorated with striking detail that felt true to the period and gave the place a special charm. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and I especially loved the standalone bathtub. It made the room feel even more relaxing and elegant. We had a fantastic stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We chose this place for its proximity to downtown and stayed one night while passing through Statesville. Getting in was simple, with no check-in process. We ran into a few people on the balcony and said hello, but otherwise it felt as if we had the place to ourselves. The rooms are large, with Victorian-style decor and bathrooms in the rooms. The king bed in the Breakers room was very comfortable. We left early, so I can’t say anything about breakfast or morning coffee. Downtown is a 10-minute walk away.

The Inn's owners were amazing to work with and so accommodating. Our daughter and SIL suddenly had unusual housing needs in Statesville, NC, and the Carriage House was just perfect for us. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, clean, friendly, and comfortable inn, and the price is reasonable. We’re grateful and would recommend The Inn on Front Street to anyone in the area needing a place to stay.

We stayed in the Rosecliff Room and had a lovely time. Jason and Cheryl have created a comfortable, charming setting with an authentic antebellum Southern feel. The Inn on Front Street is only a block or two from downtown, where there’s an interesting mix of shops and eateries. We had an excellent dinner at the Twisted Oak Bar & Grille. If you have a reason to stop in Statesville, we highly recommend staying here.

Cheryl was a wonderful host, and I really enjoyed talking with her. My room was comfortable and inviting in this beautiful, historic house. It’s also an easy, short walk to shops and restaurants. I had a wonderful stay at The Inn on Front Street.
