The rooms were large and clean, and it’s a nice place, but a guest was smoking Marijuana on the patio. I asked the desk if that was allowed, and was told it was. That’s not a good policy for a family-friendly hotel. There’s also a strongly scented air freshener spraying in the lobby and breakfast area, and traffic can be a bit loud. We’ll probably choose another hotel next time.

The rooms and furniture are beautiful, spacious, and updated. There’s a kitchen with a dishwasher, large microwave, stove top, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, and a bar area. The full size refrigerator/freezer is apartment-sized, not a dorm room one. There’s also an office desk, an L-shaped couch with dueling ottomans, plenty of lights and outlets, and a thermostat that was perfect for me. I’m delicate about temperatures and need it just right. The room had a tub / shower, an extra comforter blanket, and 6 bed pillows total.

The employees were polite and friendly, the location next to restaurants and a movie theater was decent, and the room was somewhat cleaned each day, at least the towels were changed and trash removed. But this was my first stay with this brand, and it didn’t impress me. We wanted a full kitchen and separate living space to make traveling with children easier. For a room like this, the hotel was over $300 a night, with a maximum rate over $400, and it didn’t deliver that kind of value. The place is worn, and old repairs were done poorly. There was a hole in the wall, and the large drywall patches on the ceiling were obvious. Grime in the bathroom and some mold made it feel really unclean. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free.

We had a fabulous six-day stay. The rooms were great and clean, and the staff were fabulous. There was free breakfast, plus free dinner and wine on Monday through Wednesday evenings. Five stars!
