Scott made us feel so welcome, and the house and bedroom were cleaner and more comfortable than a lot of B&Bs we've tried. We had a lovely, relaxing four-night stay and already can't wait to come back.

We came back for a second visit and had another comfortable stay. The room was clean and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious both mornings. We also enjoyed the Nutcracker Village just up the street. Scott is a great host, and we'd love to return.

The outside of the Garrett House is quite understated, but inside there's a real Victorian atmosphere. We’ve stayed in B&Bs with similar architecture and decor, yet the Garrett House stands apart for its many small and medium decorative pieces, arranged throughout the home with real care. You could spend hours noticing them. Everything felt elegant without being cluttered, and the place was clean and comfortable during our memorable three-night stay. We’d gladly return when visiting Eastern Ohio or Western PA, and recommend it to travelers who enjoy the history and furnishings along with modern comforts and tasty breakfasts.

Scott made things easy for us, and breakfast was great. We also enjoyed sitting with the other guests over breakfast. He has done a lovely job bringing the Garrett house back to its Victorian style, while keeping a nice mix of antiques and modern amenities. Our room was clean and well cared for. We had a wonderful weekend and will stay again.

We chose the Jacuzzi suite, which was spacious and elegant, and the tub was lovely for a long soak. It does cost more, so it’s a good pick if it fits your budget. Breakfast was tasty, and we enjoyed chatting with one of the owners about the renovation. Bayberry House B&B has a relaxed, luxurious vintage feel, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of stay in Steubenville.
