Stillwater Inn & Suites

The place was very quiet, but not worth the price. Guests aren't allowed. There were cameras every 3 feet in the hallways, yet the outside security doors don't lock. Our bathroom had peeling paint and mold behind the toilet and on another wall. The room door was crooked and had to be slammed to close. Breakfast was donuts and juice that tasted awful.

The hospitality was fantastic, and the bathroom was immaculate. The rooms were clean too. I didn't use the pool or hot tub, though I saw others using them. After everyone was out, staff cleaned and treated the water. The hotel is also used as a homeless shelter, and even the people living there were very kind and helpful when I had questions. Please clean up after your dogs. The people running this place don't deserve that kind of disrespect!

The staff were friendly and happy to get me anything that came with the room if I needed it. I had a very comfortable bed, and there was a hot tub and pool, plus free breakfast. I stayed four nights through an outreach program. Thank you so much for letting me stay here.

I left my wedding dress behind after staying one night for a wedding in Stillwater. I went straight from the hotel to home, so I know it was there. When I called, the man who answered took my number, said he'd check, and promised to call back. Two days later I called again, just in case it had turned up. He said he was planning to call me that day, but nobody had found anything. I asked him to look one more time, though I feel sure whoever cleaned the room originally took it. I'm sure she needed it more than I did, but it's frustrating when something so clearly seems to have been taken. Check all your belongings carefully before leaving. If something's worth anything, you likely won't get it back. The place seemed really seedy from the moment I pulled up. My room reeked of stale cigarettes, enough that I wondered if it was a smoking hotel. Maybe they just don't care and don't clean it well.
