Please read the reviews before booking. I stayed for New Year's Eve, and a couple of days later came back to my room thinking someone was showering. It turned out the bathroom had flooded because someone in another room was allegedly taking a shower. I left because I wasn't comfortable staying there, even though property manager Ray said he'd handle it. After looking at the room, he called back and said I could return because the flooding wasn't that bad. But water coming through a ceiling can bring bugs, and there were already bugs there. I emailed the general manager the next morning and still haven't been contacted or partially reimbursed.
I left and took my business elsewhere after a very upsetting interaction at the front desk. The young woman with gold hair said they had no housekeeper and therefore no room, and she spoke with an attitude. She called me a very rude word, and I felt threatened enough that I nearly called the police. She said the GM was out of the office cleaning rooms, and I want to speak with management about what happened. I hate that I was treated so poorly because of her anger. I can see why housekeeping called out, since I wouldn't want to work with her either. She was heavyset, with hair sticking up on top or a weave that didn't match.
The staff are nice and considerate, but this place has gone from great to not so great. Younger guests play loud music, and kids leave trash all over the parking lot. It used to be nice and quiet. There seems to be little respect for others or enforcement of rules, and the loud music has gotten out of hand.
The location and rooms are good, but the receptionist kept repeating that smoking and having male guests weren't allowed, as if I planned to have men coming and going. I saw guests everywhere, though. I don't use drugs, smoke, or drink, but that's nobody's business anyway. I'm not a prostitute or selling my body, just a young woman looking for a little comfort and peace while going through something. I'm grown, not in prison, and I follow the rules. Maybe I get treated badly because I look young, but I hate people making assumptions about me. My name isn't EVERYBODY NOR PEOPLE, and what others have done or do has nothing to do with me. While they're worrying about men coming and going, they could be mopping these floors.
We're paying too much each week to keep dealing with problems. The key card keeps failing on weekends, and when the office is closed we have to rely on maintenance to let Ian into our room. He checks the keypad battery, which isn't dead. The front desk lady isn't programming the keys properly, and although the office is supposed to close at 7, they leave around 5, making it hard to reach anyone. There are also a lot of roaches in the rooms, and nobody has come to spray or do anything about them.
