Rodeway Inn Stockton Highway 99

I stayed here for a week two years ago, and Miriam from housekeeping kept the place spotless. The rooms, bathrooms, linens, wooden floors, even the parking lot were very clean. I hardly saw other staff, and it seemed like she was doing all that work herself. She cleaned my room beautifully, and she was kind and hardworking. Other guests I met noticed how clean the hotel was then, too. Coming back today was a shock. The bathrooms are dirty and moldy, the floors sticky, and the fridge and linens are dirty and smell awful. There are cockroaches now, and the staff working today were rude. I asked for service but didn't get towels, and the ones I did see were bloodstained. I think the change in staff is the reason things have gone downhill. They need more people like Miriam. This place has changed so much that I don't think I'll ever return.

There's shopping, freeways, liquor stores, and cannabis shops right across the street, so the location is convenient for just about everything. The staff are respectful, and housekeeping is polite. It's a pet-free and drug-free hotel.

We liked the first night enough to pay for another. The room was spacious and had a mini fridge and microwave, and I loved the beautiful bathroom and shower. The price was pretty good, too. We were given a different room for the second night. It looked different but was much the same, and this one had a desk. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The clean grounds and rooms, comfortable beds, and great rain-head shower made this a relaxing place to get away from home for a few days. I was going through a hard time, and the friendly staff were caring and helpful. I found this hotel because of another review, thank you, Ebony Byrd. I'd recommend it completely for a getaway, and I'll be back.
