The campground is very clean, though it’s aged and could use some more updates. The pools are kept in really nice shape, and the cabins are adorable. My kids stay in the larger ones by the lake. The yearly spot rental is around $9,200. The community is nice for the most part, though some sections get louder and feel more fun. Then there are always the crabs 🦀 who call security over a fart. There’s not much for teens to do after 9 p.m. Maybe they could have a teen pool party one Friday a month, with parents volunteering to chaperone and bring snacks, and charge a few dollars per kid for a DJ and pizza. Karaoke family nights could be fun too, maybe one for kids and another for adults. The store closes when the pool does, so get snacks and ice before 7 p.m. Ziggy Food Stand is awesome and also closes with the pool, though they’ll accommodate catering orders. The arcade closes by 4 p.m. I don’t know why parents can’t group up and rotate watching the arcade, like security, so kids don’t damage it or the bathrooms. It’s well placed for the beach points and nightlife in Seaisle, Wildwood, AC, Ventnor, and Margate. Margate is a dry, non-alcohol town, but somehow has a [WEED DISPENSARY]. Go figure. Ocean City is a good choice with little ones for the boardwalk and rides. It’s safe, very family oriented, and geared toward young kids, with the bigger rides at the back of the pier. It’s very clean. The older kids love Wildwood ❤️ and I do too, but the boardwalk has been getting out of control. If you’re taking coaches or elderly people, it may not be the safest idea. The rides are best for teens.

My daughter rented a cabin, and we came by to visit. They were so accommodating to our family and never charged us for short visits. The service was extraordinary and very family oriented. It’s good to see people still care about quality time with family instead of just filling their pockets like some other resorts do. We loved the campground and will be back next year. Thank you Pine Haven!!

We had a wonderful few days here as a family. There was lots for us to do, and we could bring our dogs and stay in a clean cabin. We’ll definitely be back every year ❤️❤️

There’s a lot to enjoy here, and we loved our stay overall. The location is great, close to the beach and the Zoo, with both a pool and a lake where you can swim. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Just remember to bring sheets if you’re staying in a room with bunk beds, since they don’t provide them. The mini split air conditioners had a LOT of mold, which is common with that kind of system, but if you’re sensitive to mold this might not work for you. We booked a lakefront cabin thinking it would be on the swimming lake, but it was actually the fishing lake. The listing should’ve made that clearer. The view was still nice, with snapping turtles, regular turtles, fish, and frogs. Be sure to check whether your cabin is by the swimming lake or fishing lake, since they’re kind of far apart. My kids couldn’t safely go to the swimming lake by themselves. We thought we’d be able to sit on the deck and watch them play right outside our cabin, but that wasn’t possible. We didn’t have the loft this time, but we plan to next year, and we’re going back!

The campground is much bigger than you’d guess, so we rented a golf cart to get around. It’s a beautiful area with two lovely pools and a big lake for dogs and people. Our site had a nice sized porch, a large picnic table with an umbrella, a charcoal grill, and a fire ring out back. They also supplied a coffee pot, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and a full set of dishes. The pillows were soft and clean, though the bed itself wasn’t very comfortable. We liked it enough that we’re coming back in another two weeks.
