We arrived during leaf peeping season, and the price was very reasonable. The place was full, but our room got upgraded to help other travelers who couldn't manage the stairs, which worked out well for us. It's quiet, secluded, and comfortable, and I'd go again. Just be ready for the drive: first you get to the middle of nowhere, then you take a left. Going out at night can be tricky, so make sure your headlights are great and you're okay with deep, dark woods. You might wonder if it's a murder hotel on the way there. I heard it's owned by Stephen King and that he sometimes visits. I can believe it, this place could be the setting for one of his stories. Don't be afraid. Muhahahahaha.

The game room downstairs was such a good place to hang out. We spent hours on pool, claw machines, shooting games, and foosball. Everygreen was also about 30 minutes from Sunday River Mountain Resort, which made getting to skiing and snowboarding really convenient. Before we arrived, the staff had already contacted us to make check-in easy. They gave us entry codes, but said they'd still wait at the door, then walked us to our rooms and pointed out the morning coffee and continental breakfast. It felt comfortable from the start, like we were their guests. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back for our ski trip every year. Couldn't have asked for better!

It's a really remote, nice and quiet place, but the location was a bit inconvenient. Thank goodness for the Wi-Fi, since we had no service until we were 20-30 minutes from the hotel. The nearest place to get food had closed by 7 pm, and we arrived later, which was disappointing. Eat before you check in late, or you'll have to drive about 40 minutes back out for anything you need. Service was good and the staff were very friendly, though they were rarely around on weekdays. I wasn't expecting a Murphy bed, and it was okay, but I missed my own bed and needed a softer mattress. The room could use updating. We had a fan, which was good since there was no air conditioning, though it wasn't a hot week.

We were ready to leave at midnight, but stayed. My wife and I chose this place because it was advertised as having an EV charger on the property, and it doesn't. Breakfast was also advertised as included, but that wasn't true. The sheets were dirty, there was a bad smell, and the room was outdated. The old condition might have been okay without the smell. I asked to use a 110v plug, but the owner tried to charge us $40, even though it would charge the car by 5% at most and a supercharger costs $35 for a full charge. The price is good, so you get what you pay for. The road is in very bad shape, so you'd better have an SUV.

We got room 133 on the first floor by an exit, and it may have been one of the worst rooms. Loud guests smoked and talked right outside our window, and with walls as thin as paper, we could hear everything. The bed was stiff as a board, the bathroom wasn't very clean, and there was only a sheet and one thin blanket. Since we stayed in October, it got cold. The thermostat didn't work, and the wood floor section was freezing, so bring slippers. The mini fridge froze all our food and drinks within 24 hours, including things on the bottom shelf. Turning the power knob down to the lowest setting did nothing. Having almost no drinks because they were giant ice cubes really sucked. The toaster burned one side of the bread and left the other uncooked, which was comical, and the TV looked like watching through an old Nokia phone. Housekeeping was bizarrely loud in the mornings, talking in the halls and playing music. At first I thought it was guests, then realized it was housekeeping. It was after 8 am, so maybe not a huge deal, but we slept in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and said goodbye when we left. Three stars isn't all that bad, there are definitely worse places and this deserves credit where it's due, but the many issues are worth mentioning. It was still charming, in the middle of nowhere, with wonderful star gazing. There's zero service, but thank God the Wi-Fi worked. They have lots of community areas that seemed cool if you're into that. Maybe the other suites are better, so avoid room 133 if you can.
