The staff made this place feel welcoming. Will greeted me by name each day and asked how things had gone. I was there for five nights in mid-February on a solo ski trip, and the easygoing, old-school feel suited me. There’s a sitting area in the lobby with couches, a big fireplace and TV, plus a coffee maker, microwave and dining table. Three hot tubs, a pool and a sauna were nice to have, too. It’s just outside downtown, right on the mountain bus route, with a stop in front of the hotel. Great place for a reasonable price.

The rooms are clean and cozy, and the beds especially comfortable. The price and location are hard to beat, and the staff are kind with an adorably quirky streak. The decor and atmosphere feel like a trip back to the ’80s. We’ve considered other places in the area, but somehow end up coming back here. This is our third stay, and we absolutely love it.

Parking was convenient, and the inn is centrally located in Stowe, VT. I arrived in town earlier than planned and needed a room and some sleep, so I was glad I could find this Inn. I had a few issues and was ready to write a different kind of review, but manager Mandy addressed them and left me completely satisfied. The customer service was outstanding. I’m really glad I found and stayed at Commodores, and I’d happily book it again as another spot in Stowe.

We had a quiet, comfortable stay with our kids and dog, though we wished we’d had more time to enjoy the facilities. The lake out back has kayaks and canoes for guests, and we had a great time at the indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms were very comfortable, and the people at the front desk were some of the friendliest we’ve met at a hotel. I’d recommend it and would come back.

There’s a large lake behind the hotel and plenty of space on the grounds. The pool and hot tub are nice, and the lobby is a pleasant spot to sit and unwind. It’s a cute place with a homey feel.
