Mary’s local tips helped us find great nearby attractions, and we enjoyed hearing her perspective on the town and ski resort. Her family’s military history and her service to the military community make the place special. The Hobble Inn is centrally located in Stowe, less than a 15 minute drive from the ski resort. We stayed in The Loft, a beautifully decorated, comfortable space where the building’s historic charm comes through. Mary’s hospitality made us feel at home right away. It was the perfect home away from home for our ski vacation. Thank you, Mary, for all you do!

Mary was a wonderful hostess, and the breakfast was incredible. My husband and I stayed at Mary’s Hobble Inn in winter, and The Loft was amazing in every way. The Inn was immaculate and full of charm. We can’t wait to visit again. If you want a home away from home, this is the place.

Mary was amazingly accommodating, and we’ll definitely come back. The loft had a homey feel, lovely decor, and just the right size for a couples getaway. Its location was perfect too. Everything felt exactly as it should.

The loft was fabulous, with everything we needed close at hand, and the city center was a beautiful four-minute walk away. Mary deserves a big thank-you for going out of her way to accommodate me, with such a thoughtful attitude and attention to detail. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. I haven’t eaten meals like those in a long time. I’ll never forget her kindness. Blessings 😊

I didn’t quite make it all the way up Long Trail S, so I’ll definitely be back soon. I loved my night at the Hobble Inn. Mary was so welcoming and knew the area well, with good suggestions for hiking and places to eat.
