The Little River Inn

After long days snowboarding, the hot tub was a great place to rest our tired legs. The Little River Inn is also only about 12 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort, with a peaceful, cozy place to return to. Phil and Kim made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast each morning was amazing and clearly made with care by Phill, and Kim’s coffee cake was the best. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back.

We loved coming back to the hot tub after a snowy day on the mountain, and the breakfast was fantastic every morning. Phil and Kim were gracious hosts, and the cozy common areas had coffee, a microwave, mini fridge, kitchenware, games, and a TV. The locked ski equipment room also had a large fridge. Room 3 was spacious and handy, right by the parking area, but we could hear morning traffic. It’s about a 15 minute drive to stowe mt and close to most shops and restaurants.

We were lucky to get a room at this little B&B during the busy season. Kim and Phil were so thoughtful and accommodating, and breakfast was homemade and delicious, especially the Belgian waffles and muffins. It was handy to choose between two breakfast times each day and note dietary restrictions. The room was cozy and comfortable, with modern updates and incredibly soft sheets. The hot tub was always warm, clean, and easy to use, and the backyard chairs by the river were a perfect spot to read. Thanks for making our time in Stowe such a delight.

Kim and Phil were so accommodating and nice, and breakfast was a real highlight. Each morning brought something different and delicious, with homemade apple cider and fresh muffins. We all felt like we were in food heaven. Our group of women had the Inn to ourselves during an October trip to Vermont for the fall colors. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there were plenty of games in the common room, and a few of us tried the hot tub one night. The lovely backyard runs down to the river, with a short walk from there into town. Thank you, Kim and Phil!
