Honeyspot Motor Lodge

It's been okay on my two stays so far, and I didn't see bugs in any of the rooms. I've had three different rooms because the heat wasn't working in mine. I told the guy, and he said to wait until 11 clock out, then I got another room, no problem. Bring your own sheets and covers, though, because theirs have holes.

The cleanest-looking parts were the tabletops, counters, tub, and sink, and the water pressure was amazing. It changed when someone in another room flushed a toilet. Most of the rest felt unsafe to touch. Nearly everything was broken, outdated, or stained. The walls needed cleaning, repair, or paint; the pillows were deflated; the tub had layers of paint; and the carpet looked old and worn and needed a deep clean. All the towels had stains.

Disgusting. There were bed bugs and cigarette burns on the blankets. They enter your room when you're not there, turn off your A.C., and don't give you fresh toilet paper. Out psflll.

For my two-month stay, the Honeyspot Hotel had what I needed: a refrigerator, AC, a steady supply of hot water, and rooms available for longer stays. The rooms were stocked with towels and essentials, and the maid service made my time there especially enjoyable. It's a cheaper motel if you're looking to get away from it all. No hotel is home, but you can still make it feel that way. Pay on time, take care of your room, and respect the place. That's pretty much all they ask.
