We paid $125 total for one night, the day before Christmas Eve, and I thought it was worth it. I can see why the ratings are high. There's also a pool and hot tub, both open during our stay, though we didn't use them so I can't comment on them. The location is handy, right off the highway, with lots of food nearby, a gas station next door, and Walmart across the street. Even with all those businesses around, the hotel sits back from the road beside another hotel, and felt quiet and safe. Everyone was friendly when we arrived and left, and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was included and better than expected, with eggs, bacon, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and even vegetarian sausage. We didn't try the room coffee, but the breakfast coffee was great. Our room was as expected and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable but very soft, and the pillows were too soft for me and went flat, which made sleep harder. That's nitpicky, but worth mentioning if you care about that sort of thing.

The pool had so much chlorine that it felt like overkill. I didn't mention it to the staff, though I'm sure they would've tried to help if I had. The rest of the wedding trip went well: the staff were friendly and accommodating, and when I reported a noise I heard from my room all the first night, the front desk took care of it promptly. Breakfast was on point, with plenty to choose from, including waffles, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, sausage, and several kinds of cereal.

We arrived late, and reception was nice. The hot tub was a surprise for a Fairfield, since you don't see one often. Breakfast had the excellent range you'd expect at a Fairfield, and plenty of room for larger groups. There was also a parking spot for titanium members. The hotel is right off the freeway, though finding the entrance was a little confusing. You can cut through the sheets or go to the light and loop around.

Don't let the negative reviews put you off. We stayed two days, and all the staff across different shifts were friendly, helpful, and quick to take care of us. The place has been newly renovated, with spacious, clean rooms and everything new. I've paid more at other hotels and received worse service. My child and I got a lot for what we paid, and I'd absolutely recommend it.

The breakfast was above average and had lots of options. The staff were great and kept looking for ways to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.
