Hampton Inn & Suites Cleveland Southeast/Streetsboro

I'm a difficult person, lol, but this is a very nice hotel. Angela was pleasant when I checked in, and when I asked to move because of noisy neighbors, Vanessa helped promptly. Thanks to both of them, and to the cleaning staff and maintenance man too.

We stopped here for a quick rest before getting back on the road. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It's a little loud because of the highway, but we expected that, so it wasn't a big deal for us.

The staff were kind, and I liked the outside patio. No hot tub, though. The hotel has recently been remodeled and updated, with a nice gym and good pool. I think I overheard at breakfast that they're donating the furniture being replaced in the remodel to Habitat for Humanity Restore, which is awesome.

We were very tired and had no other Hilton options nearby, so we stayed here on our way from Pennsylvania to Michigan. Coming off the Ohio Turnpike, there aren't many choices. A regular room with two queen beds cost $233 for the night. The place felt dated, the beds were hard, and breakfast was just okay. The night before, I got a suite at a Homewood Suites for half the price, with a much better room and breakfast. It felt like they were charging more because turnpike travelers have hardly any options. I'm very dissatisfied and won't stay here again.
