The owners were quick to respond whenever we needed them, even at odd hours, and the place was really quiet. The rooms look like they’ve been remodeled recently and are nice.

The room itself was clean and wasn’t bad. What made the stay awful was the pressure to leave. We had a non-smoking room, so I was outside with my coffee when the owner’s wife asked around 9 if we were checking out. I said yes, and she kept returning about every 20 minutes. Checkout was at 11. At about 10:45 she sent the housekeeper over with a linen cart, and the woman stood at our door while we were trying to get our things out.

The place feels like stepping into the 1960s, with rooms that are a real time capsule. There weren’t any bugs, which matters a lot to me. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to keep our vehicles safe in the well-lit, secured parking lot.

We only stopped because everywhere else was sold out, and after seeing the room we left, even though we’d already paid and there were no other rooms available. It was filthy, the service was rude, and we found rats. The owner refused to refund us. I’ve traveled all over the world and never seen a worse dump, including places in India and Mexico. I noticed a few positive reviews, but I can’t imagine anyone having a good experience here, so maybe the owner posted them. The owner is in the last photo.
