Free parking was a huge selling point, especially with nearby hotels charging so much. Self-parking is on the second floor of the garage, and the staff can point you to it. The room was nice and clean, with windows that open for fresh air. Everyone on staff was welcoming and really friendly. The location is close to the Wharf, restaurants, Trader Joe's, and Walgreens, which came in handy when I got sick. Great value. I've found my go-to for future trips.

Free covered parking was the best part. I felt secure leaving my rental car there while I explored the city. It's also a great base for San Francisco attractions, with Fisherman's Wharf an easy walk away and loads of good restaurants and cafes just a few blocks from the hotel. The room was very clean and cozy, but the bed could've been more comfortable.

We asked for a quiet room and got one, so we slept great. The location is amazing, and Columbus Street at night had fun energy. It felt really quiet and safe, like being where locals hang out. Lombard Street, Fisherman Wharf, Little Italy, and Chinatown are all a short walk away. The room was sparkling clean, although the furniture was very old and smelled the way it looked in the photos. It wasn't too bad. Free parking is included in the room price, which was a huge convenience and bonus. Good choice.

Tony at the front desk is the kind of person who makes you want to return. He took great care of us. We’ve stayed at The Columbus Inn twice now, first in January when we flew into SF, and again when we drove and needed parking. The parking is free, and you’re close to Fisherman’s Wharf, the cable cars, restaurants, and plenty more. The king rooms are roomy, clean, and comfortable. It’s a no-frills place, which is fine by me as long as it’s clean and comfortable. Columbus Ave can be noisy, so I bring a Bluetooth speaker and play white noise from my phone at night. That works for me. We’ll stay here again whenever we’re in SF.
