Everything worked out well. I came to town for The Harvest Fest and needed a smoking room. They were out, but offered us a room with a balcony and said smoking there was allowed. With so many people in the area looking for smoking rooms, that was absolutely acceptable.

I liked the room’s atmosphere and enjoyed the park, even though this place was different from where I usually stay. Nearby, there’s fast food and a Walmart. One thing bothered me: I saw a couple outside the room smoking crack, I believe. They should keep a closer eye on things. There was a man around, but he seemed to be the only one doing everything there. I think that was 11 minutes ago.

The room was roomy and clean, with plenty of small amenities, and the service was good. I had no problems during my stay. Breakfast was the weak point: a little glass case with bagels and cold waffles, plus a toaster, spreads, and an apple/orange juice dispenser. It was disappointing. A waffle iron so guests could make hot waffles would be a nice addition. That’s a minor complaint, and it may not matter if you don’t eat hotel breakfast. I’d still recommend the hotel.

We only stayed one night while on a road trip, and the place was clean and adequate for that. Parking was easy, the staff were friendly, and the continental breakfast was a nice extra. Good hotel for what we paid.
