Snug Harbor would be a great escape if you like being right by the water or enjoy fishing. The water's edge was only a few feet from our door. We came at the end of February for a quick getaway and to see the big ore ships laid up while shipping was shut down for the season. It's a little dated and the furniture has seen better days, but we'd definitely return in warmer weather.

The view is breathtaking, and the clean rooms feel like home. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a getaway, or, like us, moving 12 hours from home for work.

Our room looked out over the water, with beautiful sunsets, and the place was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay at Snug Harbor, and the room had all the kitchen appliances we needed to cook our own meals. We'll be back and would absolutely recommend it. Thank you Lori!

The Little green cottage was wonderful inside, even though it looks old and tired from the outside. It can sleep six adults and even has a baby grand piano. With a park and beach across the street, it was more than I expected. You can't judge a book by its cover, and this place is a diamond in the rough. I can't wait to stay at Snug Harbor's Little green cottage again.

The room was so huge, with a Great Lake view, and check-in was easy. I've driven from Naperville twice and will definitely come back.
