Comfort Suites Manassas Battlefield Park

The Wi-Fi was awful, which left me unable to catch up on work, and the free breakfast and Wi-Fi advertised on the website weren’t provided as promised. The manager was rude about it. My kids went down for breakfast and came back without eating because the food was gone. When I asked, the woman at the desk who said she was the manager told me the hotel was sold out and couldn’t meet guests’ breakfast needs. She blamed the Wi-Fi problem on the weather, even though it was only cool and cloudy, which confused me. Room service came in with a key without knocking and said she needed to clean. We left, but when we returned she had only replaced the towels and washcloths. I cleaned the room myself so my kids and I could be comfortable: I took out the trash, made the beds, dusted because the room felt a little dusty, and felt the sheets should have been changed. We came for a holiday weekend with my kids, and it was frustrating to spend our money and not get what we paid for. Whoever owns this hotel needs to check in on the business.

The service and staff were great, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The pillows, though? Those square blobs need to go. The pool was dirty, and they should remove the hot tub photos because there isn't one. Breakfast was okay if you stick to the cold items. The hot food looked very inedible.

Parking was plentiful, and the hotel was beautiful and clean. The front desk staff were always nice and helpful, and breakfast was decent, though limited. Our room had a few problems: the mattress was extremely hard, and we woke with backaches every morning. The blackout curtains didn’t keep the sun out, while the AC kept shifting between hot and cold, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We’d read that the indoor pool was heated, but it wasn’t. Even with those room issues, it was a nice, reasonably priced place to stay.

A huge party was going on in the hotel ballroom and was supposed to last until midnight. From our room on the third floor, we could hear the music and feel the walls shaking.
