The breakfast was great, and the stay was otherwise not bad. Housekeeping took away the dirty towels but didn’t leave replacements, and they didn’t top up the toilet paper when it was running low. I had to go downstairs twice to ask for towels and toilet paper, which shouldn’t have been necessary. We also needed to do laundry, but each machine cost $3 and only took quarters. The front desk had none, so we couldn’t use them. Laundry should be included, but if it costs that much, there should at least be a way to pay without needing so many quarters.

We were there for one night. The clean, spacious room was just as described, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. The guy at check-in was really nice and helpful. We accidentally left our ATM card behind, and they kindly called us to let us know. Great customer service. I highly recommend the hotel.

The room never lost its odd damp, wet smell. I was too tired to ask to move for just one night. There was soap in the lotion dispenser, which seemed strange, and $6 for water felt like too much. Trains and doors slamming loudly through the night also made it hard to sleep. When I arrived around 8:40 PM, the front door was locked with no sign explaining how to get into the lobby after hours. Someone happened to come by and let me in, but otherwise I don’t know how long I’d have been left waiting outside after traveling. The whole stay was disappointing and not what I’d hoped for.

This was the worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever stayed at. We had a Thursday-to-Sunday reservation, but our flight was canceled and we had to take a Friday morning flight instead. We called Thursday night and were told that would be fine. When we arrived Friday, they said our card had declined, they’d released our room, and we were lucky someone had canceled that morning. Someone else’s cancellation was the only reason we got a room. I signed a document showing $388 for three nights. During the stay there was banging upstairs at 5:30 a.m. and the A/C was broken. We asked staff for help twice and got none. Then this morning I was charged another $130. Downstairs, they said it was a Thursday no-show fee, even though we’d already explained the flight change and been told Friday check-in was okay. They also couldn’t find my signed price and stay documents, although every other room apparently had its paperwork. Of course mine was missing. They refused to remove the charge, even after I showed my online receipt and reservation. It’s ridiculous that my card supposedly declined on the first night and they gave away our room, but they had no trouble charging it for a “no show” fee. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever had. Do not stay here. If you do, take pictures of every document. This place is a joke, don’t waste your time or money. I’m sure you can get better service elsewhere, and I’ll never stay here again.
