The room renovations were a pleasant surprise. The furniture matched, the wall coverings were good quality, and details like the plugs and switches were convenient. The larger TV can finally be angled toward the seating area, and the mood lighting was a classy touch. The lobby is still unfinished during the renovations, but that wasn’t a problem and it should look nice when it’s done. One thing needs attention: the pull-down shade is see-through, so the parking lot floodlights shine in and there’s little privacy. We had to improvise a fix. I hope Choice keeps improving its locations. Some are really poor and should be closed, yet have good ratings, which makes me wonder about the rating process.

Friendly staff made check-in easy, and the clean room was in good working order. The pool and hot tub were clean, too. Lions choice is right next door. Can’t go wrong here!

Katie went out of her way to help us, even though she doesn’t usually work at this location, and the staff were wonderful. We stayed in the King Suite, which was fantastic, with a very comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub, and breakfast nook. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a great selection. Highly recommend!

8/10
The staff were kind, the breakfast was good, and the restaurants nearby, along with the close-to-the-highway location, make this a good value. There was construction on the ground floor, but the work was clearly marked. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My main issue was the light: the curtains are decorative and don’t close, and the thin retractable blind lets the outdoor pole lights shine right through. I couldn’t sleep without a mask. If you don’t need a dark room, this is a perfect hotel.

The hot breakfast, clean pool, and nice rooms made this place a good value for the quality. The staff were great, and it’s in a very good location. It’s being remodeled now, and I’m sure it’ll look stunning when the work is finished.
