Lucky Stone Retreat - Private Beach & Acadia View

Every night we sat on the balcony overlooking the bay and watched the stars. I also loved taking daily walks along the private beach and looking for sea glass. The room and bathroom were even better than we expected, with beautiful decor and a comfortable bed. Matt and Nicole were wonderful hosts who did so much to make our stay feel magical. The breakfasts were delicious, too. After staying at a number of bed and breakfasts with my husband, this is my favorite by far. Such a dreamy, romantic place, and we can’t wait to come back.

We loved the quiet, beautiful views in the morning and evening, and would happily return to Sullivan just to stay with Matt and Nicole again. Their inn has spectacular views of Frenchman’s bay and Cadillac Mountain, and they were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was chef’s kiss: the Lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes were fabulous, and they serve French press coffee and mimosas with every breakfast. I even asked for the quiche recipe! Sullivan is about a 40-minute drive from Bar Harbor, but we thought it was well worth it. For exploring, we recommend Cadillac at sunrise and the sights of Acadia. Our favorite lobster roll was at The traveling lobster in bar harbor. Thanks, Matt and Nicole, for a wonderful stay!

Matt and Nicole were caring, efficient hosts, and we had an outstanding stay at their waterfront inn. They gave us local tips for planning our days, and breakfast came with a lovely view across the bay. The rooms were cleaned impeccably, with fresh towels and bottled water each day. A beautiful bed and breakfast.

The room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. We also loved the gorgeous grounds and views. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and we’d definitely stay here again.
