Ramada Summerset/Rapid City West

I paid a lot for the room and found cockroaches in it. I called repeatedly, expecting someone to sort it out, but nobody helped. I couldn't get a refund either. Terrible experience, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The place was pretty empty, and I felt super safe. The front desk guy was so nice, and everything was crazy clean. I stayed in room 10 one for around $69. The bed was a little hard and the sheets were thin, but I’d definitely stay again. Breakfast was baller. They had those good apples, Honeycrisp or something, and I’m pretty sure they were already washed since there were no stickers on them. There were big bottles of quality hand sanitizer with little reminders to use it, plus biscuit, egg, cheese, and sausage sandwiches you could heat up. The decor was super high quality too.

The room was comfy and very clean, and the outdoor balcony was a rare bonus. I stayed in early August during biker week but never had any trouble with noise. The staff was wonderful, and it was good value, though breakfast could be better. I'll definitely stay again.

The managers were friendly and welcoming, and the place felt like a nice little quiet mini resort at a good price. The room was spacious, with nice large beds, very clean, and had a refreshing rustic theme. There was a casino on site, a hot tub, a pool, and a 24 hour convenience store. My only issue was not getting the full late checkout. It would've made a huge difference for my family and me, since we didn't get to bed until 4:30 A.M. after about 13 hours on the road. I also thought it should've been a Wydham perk since I'm a gold member. Just noting it for the review, no grudges or worries. I'd definitely still consider staying again. Good job, guys!
