The pool wasn't usable, which was one of the reasons we chose the place, and that was disappointing. We booked a room with a soaking tub, but bath gel or soap for it would've been useful. Bathroom supplies were sparse, and we were glad we'd brought some from our previous chain hotel. Breakfast was adequate but mostly self-serve. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, the place was charming and clean, and JoAnn and Terry were friendly, endearing hosts. It's handy for downtown Charleston and the airport. A comfortable, quaint overnight stay if you aren't expecting B&B amenities; we were there two nights and had mixed feelings based on our past B&B stays.

We loved the freshly made breakfasts and also walked a short distance to eat at the Golf Club restaurant. The grounds are so peaceful, the hosts made us feel welcome, and the scenic drive into Charleston took about 30 minutes. After touring around and staying in branded roadside hotels, finding Terry and Jo-Ann's Tudor Oaks Inn was a real pleasure.

The owner was English and so friendly. The place sits in a beautiful, peaceful golf course setting, about a 30-minute drive from downtown Charleston. It's worth the trip, and I'd definitely come back.

The hosts were very nice, and this was the cleanest place I've ever stayed. For a short romantic getaway without kids, it was very good. There are some drawbacks for disabled guests or longer stays: no elevator, only stairs, and the fridge is on the ground floor, which is inconvenient from the third floor. Golf balls could put parked cars at risk. The pool was unusable for most of 2022, and they didn't let us know in advance. The door security system beeps from at least 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and breakfast doesn't offer enough variety for a longer stay. They did upgrade our room when the A/C had trouble.

Joann and Terry were charming and always available with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Their spacious, charming B&B is just steps from the Legend Oaks golf club house, with a private back yard, plenty of seating, and an in-ground pool. Breakfast is served daily from 8 am to 10 pm. After several trips to the Charleston/Folly Beach area, we tried something different on this South Carolina visit and were glad we did. Highly recommended!
