We’ve stayed here several times and used to love it. It’s become a place that feels like ours, and I can tell the owner really cares about it. The inn is cute, and I hope locals keep supporting it through this rough economic patch. I’ll keep updating this as we visit again, and it’ll be interesting to see how things go. This last stay wasn’t the best. I used to work as a housekeeper and cleaning professional, so I noticed things that would take two seconds to finish and help make a guest happy. I’m not usually nitpicky, but my partner noticed them too, and that got frustrating. We paid good money and expected the room to be at least clean. I don’t know if the inn is struggling financially, but if it is, this is the time to tighten up the cleaning. My main complaint is that housekeeping needs to do a better job.

The pub is fun, and that’s why we stayed for a night away, even though we live nearby. The room itself was well put together and worth the very reasonable, basically cheap, price. Nothing fancy. The main issues are that the restaurant and bar close really early, at 8 pm, and despite being advertised as a traditional English pub, they only have breakfast sandwiches instead of a traditional English breakfast.

We always get looked after well here, and it’s nice and quiet. The British food and drinks are DELISH! Tracey, Julia, Andrew, and Jesse are just a few of the great staff. Get the fish and chips, and try one of Jesse’s Monday Mocha cocktails. It’s better than any espresso martini! 😋

The room was spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, and the interior design was breathtaking. The atmosphere felt peaceful and sophisticated. Every moment felt special and carefully thought out. This luxury hotel went beyond what I expected.

Alex went above and beyond to handle several of our needs, including some last-minute requests. Everyone at both the inn and pub made an effort to make our stay as good as possible. We had another amazing experience, and Alex and the team made our special night feel even more special.
