Townhouse Motel

The room and beds were fine, no issues there. The owners were kind and helpful, as was the janitor. But on our last night, we caught the janitor’s son peeking into our room in the middle of the night. Really creepy. If the owners see this, that young boy needs some counseling.

The man running the place was nice enough and at least professional. It’s a cheap motel in a town with little else to offer, and the cheapest option around since Travelodge across the street was completely booked. It was kind of clean but had a musty smell. No shampoo or coffee was provided, though you could buy things at the front desk.

The owners are lovely, and that alone makes the motel worth considering. It’s an older place, but my room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and it was quiet and comfortable overall. Don’t skip it just because it isn’t new. People judge too quickly.

The owners can be very rude, and the rooms need a lot of improvement. I once saw bedbugs. Their surveillance is poor too: my car window was smashed, and they couldn’t describe the car or person because the only camera was pointed outside from inside.
