Cherry Orchard Inn

The shower over the tub had just the right amount of pressure, and the room, sheets, and towels all seemed clean. The air conditioning was average, though the lights felt like a disco club. I was given one 16oz bottle of water at check-in, but housekeeping didn’t leave another, and there wasn’t anything to buy in the room. I couldn’t call to say I was checking out because the bedside phone didn’t work. I was traveling alone and stayed for two nights. The place is noisy, right by a KFC drive thru and road work on the block. My first night was fine when it seemed less occupied, but the second wasn’t. I was on the third floor, and taking the elevator was an experience of its own. I’d suggest using the stairs.

Vik at the front desk helped untangle a booking problem when I arrived late to check in. The shower got nice and hot, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. I’m glad I booked here and would stay again.

For two nights in a row, there was no hot water in the shower. They kept saying they’d look into it, but nobody followed up or contacted us. The only response we got was, “Would you like me to cancel your reservation?” They could have offered to move us to another room or suggested something before bringing up cancellation.

Vic was great and made sure my dad and I had everything we needed. The service was friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be back soon.
