The place is very clean and well cared for. The mattress was really firm, and the pillows were basic. The fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were all very good. A great spot to stay when you're in taft.

The staff were kind, trusting, and concerned about our welfare, and we were happy and comfortable here. We stayed Thursday night and are leaving Monday morning, and we'd recommend it. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the carpet looked clean and was in good shape, and the two queen beds were firm but not too hard, with three comfortable pillows each. There was a small microwave, a small refrigerator with a freezer on top, a small coffee machine with decaf coffee, plus a full-size ironing board and iron. We haven't asked for more coffee yet. The wall AC worked great, and $92 a night seemed fair for here. There is a small pool with seating around it, and no pets. We are both 77 and were worried about using the shower and toilet if we fell. There was only one security bar in the shower, up by the shower head and the doo, and they should add one or two more on the shower wall and one by the toilet. The old ice machine also needs replacing. It couldn't keep up with demand and had only three or four cubes at 9:30 pm.

It's safe, inexpensive, and comfortable, with a hospitable manager. I was on a motorcycle and liked that the lot has just one entrance and exit, so comings and goings were monitored and people couldn't randomly stop in to look around. It's conveniently next to a couple of places to eat, so dinner is an easy walk. My room and beds were very, very clean, and the bathroom was too. The linens were soft and clean, the bedspread seemed freshly laundered, and the floor felt clean under my bare feet. The bed was pretty comfy, even for someone like me who practically sleeps on a cloud at home. I'll be back next time I roll through.

I've stayed here twice, and both rooms were immaculate. Since my first visit they've updated the bathrooms, which are wheelchair accessible, with a wheelchair able to roll right into the shower. The shower stall is super sleek and modern, a bit of a juxtaposition with the rest of the room. On my most recent stay the bed was comfortable, with no backache or discomfort, and the linens smelled fresh. The pillows were soft and fluffy. It's a great value, and I'd recommend it to anyone passing through town who wants a clean, quiet place to sleep.
