I’m a Tahlequah native, and I can say this place has changed. It has a bad reputation for drugs and crime, so I panicked when we were told we’d stay here. The first night I even pushed a dresser in front of the door 😆. Then I met the owner, Kevin, and felt much safer. His handyman, Austin, and housekeeper, Carolyn, were so kind, and they helped my daughter and me quickly whenever we needed it. We stayed a month and are sad to leave. There’s great lighting at night and cameras on the property. I’d recommend it. It’s reformed and not terrifying at all.

The property is still being renovated, but I highly recommend checking it out. The new owners are doing a great job, and the new owner, Kevin, has gone above and beyond in caring for the place. Mark, the manager, is very nice and on top of any needs. The maid service is so sweet. I can’t express how grateful I am for this motel.

I’ve been here for two months and it’s been great. The new owners and manager Mark are good, and he’s always asking if I need anything. My room is clean, and housekeeping is always nice. I recommend it to anyone.

I stayed Jan 28. There were two dead roaches on the floor in my first room, and they kindly moved me to what seemed like a better one. I didn’t notice anything concerning at first, but after lying in bed for maybe ten minutes, I felt something crawl over my hand. I jumped up and found a huge roach in the bed. I took the few things I’d brought in and slept in my truck. I personally will never go back.

I saw several roaches running around, and the room was dirty. There were bed bugs in the bed, too. The manager, Kevin, was very rude. If you're looking for a room in the Tahlequah area, there are better hotel options.
