talkeetna villas and tours

After climbing Denali, we stayed here and it was perfect. Downtown shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. Our spacious room had a small kitchenette and lounge area. Travis, the owner, was fantastic to deal with, worked around our schedule, and was great to chat with. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Talkeetna.

Travis was a great host. He invited us to sit by the cozy outdoor fire pit and was good company. Talkeetna Villas is nicely placed between the train station and downtown, and we could walk everywhere without trouble, even in the rain. We were very pleased with the clean, well furnished rooms, decent kitchen, and soft bed.

I booked two days here after someone recommended it, and was blown away. I've stayed in hotels and Airbnbs all over the world, and this place is at the top of my list. Travis responds quickly to messages, keeps the property clean, and is a welcoming host. The room has what you need, from a microwave and hot plate to fluffy towels and a nice soft bed. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back this way.

The fire pit in the middle of the four little cabins was a lovely place for guests to gather after dinner. The setting is just down the road from town, and the location worked perfectly for us. The rooms are thoughtfully done, and the host, Travis, was always right there when needed. He also knows the area and travel accommodations inside out. We can’t wait to return, and would definitely suggest staying here.
