Monica in the breakfast room was the highlight for me. She was so delightful, caring, thoughtful, and kind, and I saw her go out of her way to make everyone’s experience enjoyable. I’m grateful for her. The place was very clean and everyone was friendly. I’d definitely stay again.

I called the property at 7 p.m. because my Friday flight would arrive late, and the receptionist said it was fine and I could check in. But when I got there at 1 a.m., I was told there had been a situation with the room and none was available. The man at the desk didn’t help at all. I told him they were leaving me stranded at 1 a.m.; he apologized but didn’t even call around to help find another room. Several nearby hotels were fully booked, so I was stranded in a city I didn’t know. I had to drive 30 miles north to Thomasville and finally found a room at 2 a.m. Otherwise, I would have slept in the rental car in a parking lot. I’d never book here again, and I hope Marriott does something about this. It’s a huge inconvenience and could be dangerous, especially for someone traveling with young children or an elderly person.

The full kitchen and roomy layout made this a great fit for our work trip. Our room was clean and well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. The location worked perfectly for us. I’d definitely recommend booking here if you’re in the area.

I’ve stayed at Marriott properties for 15 years, and this was easily the worst. Room 225 needs maintenance and a serious cleaning: the AC vent was caked with dust, the bathroom door looked chewed up, and the floor had water damage and loose tiles. There was mold in the shower, and the coffee maker’s water reservoir was dirty even though we had no coffee when we checked in. We were extremely unhappy with the stay and won’t return.
