Holiday Capri Motel

The owners were really friendly, and the motel was quiet and looked after by them. Our room was super clean, with a great shower. We rode in on motorcycles and could park right outside the room. For a motel in the mid-$60 range, it was as good as anywhere we’ve stayed. The owner also has beautiful roses.

The bed could use another blanket. It had just a sheet and comforter, with two pillows on a full-size mattress. The room was clean and roomy, though, and came with a microwave and refrigerator. I saw some stains on the floor, but no musty smell. There were a few suspicious-looking people in the neighborhood, and the proprietors worked hard to keep them away from the motel. Not too bad.

Roaches crawled on us while we were trying to sleep. The bedding was gross, the tubs were nasty, and the rooms smelled bad. The AC didn’t work well, either. The owners were rude and could barely speak English. It’s the worst motel we’ve stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially families with kids. The photos they’ve posted are false or old because the rooms look nothing like them. This place is just plain nasty. If I could give it minus 10, I would.

The woman at the front desk was lovely. We stayed in late March 2019 and had a room with one full-size bed. The outside may fool you, but inside it was clean, the amenities were well kept, and the bedding was comfortable. We’d stay again.
