Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tampa North

I asked housekeeping twice over two days to clean the room, but they ignored me both times. I finally contacted the front desk. They folded the dirty towels and put them back in the room still wet, which was disgusting and insulting. The bed wasn't properly made either, they put the same sheet back without changing or arranging it. Do they think guests are stupid? Zero for cleanliness. I strongly advise people to stay away.

Rita and Nicole at the front desk arranged things before I arrived to make my stay after an injury comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and manager Ricardo is hands-on. Maintenance and housekeeping were prompt and thorough.

The desk staff were helpful and accommodated my late arrival. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and smelled good. There was hot water and the shower was perfect. I'll come back in the future.

The basics worked fine: the air conditioning, lights, fridge, microwave, bathroom, and coffee bar were all there. Still, the place felt a bit empty for a pricey hotel, and $180 a night just didn’t feel justified. I don’t think the complaints are only because it’s old, though. After we woke up, the cleaning lady came in without knocking. Then breakfast was crowded and cramped, with just one waffle maker. Maybe put some of that $180 toward another waffle maker.
