Guam Airport Hotel

I had a 13-hour layover in Guam and spent it at this so-called hotel. I regretted it as soon as I walked in. There were stains everywhere, on the bed, floor, bathroom, walls, and even the mirror. They looked dark and unsettling. I wouldn’t put a stray animal in that room, let alone a paying guest. The sink had electricity but no running water, so it was useless. The AC looked rusty and neglected, rattled like an engine, and blew hot air. Sleeping was impossible, and I sweated all night in that moldy, stained room. I felt dirty being there, and worse knowing I’d paid for it. This place shouldn’t be rented out to tired travelers looking for rest. If it’s your only option, sleep at the airport. I wish I had.

I’ve stayed here twice now. It’s decent and affordable, just down the street from the airport, and worth considering for a short Guam visit. The rooms I had came with a basic fridge, stove, microwave, and other kitchen items I didn’t expect. You can cook an actual meal in the room.

I stayed about six nights, and the experience was okay. The building and my room looked old, but everything still worked properly and gave me somewhere to rest while I was in Guam. The employees were friendly, helpful, and professional with customers. I’d recommend it for business trips, budget travel, or transit, and I’d stay again.

A useful place for a layover, with reasonable prices and rooms that had what I needed for either a short or longer stay. A taxi from the airport cost $25 cash.
