We had a family event in town and expected to arrive late, so we didn’t need a fancy room. Most name-brand hotels we looked at cost at least $60 more per night. The hotel sits in a low-traffic area, which made it feel safer, and our room was clean and cozy. I knew ahead of time that the rooms were small, so that didn’t bother me. The one thing I’d question was breakfast: the area looked completely unstocked, though maybe they’d just cleaned it up. I could be wrong. For the price, this was a very good value, and I’d happily come back.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially when I accidentally locked my keycard in the room twice. The facilities were very clean, and the stay at the Depot Hotel was great. I’d stay again.

I’m glad the city approved the permits so they can serve breakfast. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the owners are wonderful. I’ve stayed here many times and love this hotel. Please support this family-owned business instead of a chain.

My spouse and I only needed a place to sleep for a few hours and shower after an overnight fishing trip, and this worked perfectly. The renovation is nice, and the small Queen Standard room was simple and cozy. The walk-in shower was spacious, and the owners were friendly and attentive. We’ll stay here whenever we come to Taylor, TX.

The rooms are compact but comfortable and well laid out, with a handy desk and chair. A few construction finishes weren’t perfect, though it didn’t affect our stay much. The hotel felt fairly new and was very clean, and the price was a great value. We’ll book here again next time we need a place in Taylor.
