We only arrived yesterday, but already love this beautiful RV and vacation-cottage resort. The grounds are immaculate and well maintained, and the pool area is excellent, with a bar and café right beside it. Our RV site has Adirondack chairs and a gas firepit, and the location is central to everything we could want or need. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the next two months here!
We loved staying here with our four teenage boys. The cottage was great, the grounds were clean and pleasant, and the facilities were awesome. The pool was a favorite. It was just right for our family, and I highly recommend it!
The resort itself is fantastic: immaculate grounds, a nice gym for an RV resort, a great heated pool, and staff throughout who were friendly, professional, responsive, and clearly cared about keeping the property to a high standard. We stayed for a month and paid about $2,000 plus electricity. Noise and guest behavior, especially on weekends and holidays, were a major problem. On several nights, children ran and screamed until 2-3 a.m., while their parents seemed blackout drunk and disengaged. Interstate traffic, with cars and motorcycles racing through nearby exits, added constant noise, along with frequent police sirens and train horns. It made for an extremely loud and annoying stay. We used earplugs every night. I’d recommend this particular location only if you’re comfortable sleeping with earplugs, can turn off hearing aids, or simply aren’t bothered by noise. Potential guests should know about the surrounding noise and weekend chaos.
We visited in mid October, arriving Sunday and leaving Friday morning. The bay and sunset views were lovely, and major attractions were 15-30 minutes away. There were great walking and hiking routes just outside the gate. The RV park was very well maintained, with spacious, clearly marked sites. Ours was level and drained well after a day of rain. It’s the first place I’ve camped in five years where I didn’t need leveling blocks under the jacks or tires. Each site had a picnic table, a gas fire pit, and four Adirondack chairs, with good water, sewer, and electric hookups. The facilities were wonderful: pool, bar, café, hot tubs, and a Sky deck lounge. Restrooms and showers were clean and well lit. Entry to the site was through a secure gate, and key cards were needed for the gym, restrooms, and showers. There was an Amazon Locker onsite, plus a camp store with essentials. Staff were super friendly and the landscaping was well cared for. We toured the cabins too; they were first class, spacious for a cabin, and well equipped for an extended stay.
We arrived Saturday to a packed park, with only one or two empty spots. I hadn’t been before and didn’t know what to expect. It was hectic, with people, bikes, dogs, kids, and scooters everywhere. It seems great for families with kids and dogs, but less so for older folks like us who want peace and quiet. About 75% of the spots opened up by Sunday afternoon, and then it became super calm. The bathrooms and showers were clean and always stocked, the café food was really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest letdown was the constant sewage smell, which got much worse in the evening. Overall, it was a nice experience, and if we return, we’ll come during the week.
