I stayed at FinCastle for three days in mid December with my girlfriend, and the staff were unbelievably kind to both of us. Rocky, the hotel manager, was especially helpful with everything we needed. The rooms were in fantastic shape and so clean that I even checked for dirt. This place is a real gem, and I’ll definitely come back the next time I pass through Virginia.

I stopped here while heading to visit a historic railway. The room was spotless and smelled nice, and the bathroom was pristine with lovely hot shower water. The staff were friendly, courteous, and professional, and the price was very affordable. I’d stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The rates are very affordable, and the desk staff are really nice. The rooms were clean and pleasant, with a beautiful view outside. Customer service was amazing. I’d highly recommend it.

For a budget motel, you get your money’s worth, and I’d say this is one of the best in that category. The rooms, grounds, and everything around them are clean and well kept. They’re just old: the linens and towels are worn, and the toiletries are below par. The motel itself feels old and tired.

The staff were friendly, and the price wasn’t bad, though I think it should be lower for what you get. There was hair on one of the beds and some in the bathroom, possibly left by the cleaning staff. The rooms could use updates, and not enough outlets work.
