Hampton Inn & Suites Teaneck Glenpointe

We stayed one night for Valentines Day, and the king room was lovely. It felt fresh, clean, and newly renovated, and it was quiet too. The bathroom was one of the nicest I’ve had in a North NJ hotel. The whole place has a modern, welcoming feel, and the front desk staff were really kind and kept checking in to see how we were doing.

The indoor parking was a real plus, and the hotel is handy for the highways and nearby services. Just keep in mind the garage clearance is 7 feet, so a full-size vehicle with something mounted on the roof won’t fit. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and well kept for the rate, and the property was exceptionally clean. Staff were polite and professional, and breakfast had a good selection. The Wi-Fi was slower than I’m used to at other Hilton properties. We also had almost no hot water one morning. Maintenance came quickly the previous evening and it was fine that night, but by morning the pressure was low and the water only lukewarm. I suspect it was an isolated problem that has probably been fixed since, though it affected our stay. Those were the two snags. I’d stay again on my next trip if the hot water is consistent.

The room and beds were comfortable, and the facilities were clean. Staff were extremely professional, so it was an easy, comfortable stay overall. The one problem was the heater, which would suddenly blow cold air at random points during the night.

Linabel made me feel welcome and was especially helpful, walking me through the breakfast spread. The breakfast was really good, and the beds were clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed here more than four times, and this was the first time the little lobby shop was so understocked. It didn’t have Tylenol when I had a bad headache, which was really inconvenient. The area feels safe, and there’s a pleasant walking trail close by. Cross the Marriott and head behind the building, and you’ll find it. I even spotted deer.
