The room was a bit cramped, especially getting to the bathroom, so we had to take turns. Having two beds made it work, though. Breakfast was nice, with eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, apples, juice, coffee, cereal, bread, bagels, grits, and instant Danish. It was only 5 miles from the hard rock, which was convenient. I’d stay there again if I’m in the area.

The location was great, and our stay was pleasant overall. There were quite a lot of gnats in the room, though. Our first room had a refrigerator that didn’t work and an issue with the AC, but staff quickly moved us to another room. It was more updated and everything worked. The staff member who helped was amazing, though I wish I’d gotten her name.
The floors left our feet black, the walls were dirty, and we went a day without hot water in the shower. There was also a roach in one of our rooms. When we told the manager, he laughed and joked about people calling over gecko poop in their rooms. We eventually got moved to a different room. The breakfast lady was very rude, too. Everything was about 15 minutes away, which wasn’t too bad, but a better location is available. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
We stayed one night before leaving Tampa on a cruise. The room was nice, and breakfast was good. The bathroom was a little small but manageable, and the location worked well for us. I’d stay here again.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere, and there wasn’t anywhere we could sit inside or outside without dealing with it. There was a blood stain on the corner of the bedsheet, too. I asked the front desk for fresh towels at 9am, but by 9pm they still hadn’t arrived. I called and got no answer. I went to the desk twice, and both times the person there was on a cell phone with friends while helping me. The shower’s hot and cold controls were reversed, and a family member got scalded. I told the front desk. Maintenance looked at it and said it wasn’t backwards, even though it was. Then they asked me to take a photo of the burn on my minor’s private area. This is crazy town. I don’t recommend it unless you smoke, don’t mind waiting 12+ hours for a towel, and want to get burned.
