Rockview Inn and Suites - Morro Bay CA

There are plenty of better places to stay in Morro Bay. The rooms look like they were renovated fairly recently, but the work seems rushed and the workmanship is poor, with big gaps, rust on fixtures, and dirty, moldy window sills. The bed was one of the worst I've ever slept in, and the AC/heater was unbearably loud. Neighbors had the TV blaring until 3 in the morning. The location is the only really good thing. The rest of the room did seem clean, and we didn't see any bugs.

Management was so easy to talk to, and the service felt genuinely welcoming. We stayed in rooms 111 and 106, and both were excellent. The rooms were very clean, with big smart TVs that were great for watching movies and relaxing. Room 106 had lots of space. It's also an easy walk to the businesses on main street and the famous Morro bay Embarcadero. I'd definitely recommend the place and come back myself. Thank you.

The upstairs rooms have a great view and the accommodations were very good. Management was also really helpful: I needed to use my truck during the day without pulling the car carrier trailer, and he let me detach it and leave it in a designated spot in the parking lot. I appreciated that a lot. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.

The walls between rooms are thick, so once other guests are inside, you can't hear them. The rooms were roomy and clean, and staff and management were friendly. The location is great too, within walking distance of everything in Morro Bay. A couple of things bothered us. The beds listed as queens were actually full size. Since our kid shares the bed with us, we would've likely booked a king if we'd known. The metal bed frame made noise whenever we shifted, and the thin window let in the sound of people outside.
