There was no hot water, and plumbing kept banging inside the walls. The only room available had an overwhelming air freshener smell and an awkward handicap shower that was hard to use. The manager moved us upstairs, but with my bad knees and no elevator, I couldn’t get up there. Then the tub faucet knob fell off. This was a poor remodel. We won’t be back.

The rest of the stay was great, but our door wouldn’t lock, so a key wasn’t even needed. Staff said to slam it hard and it would catch, and mentioned five other rooms had the same problem. You could open ours just by pushing it.

I’m a total clean freak, full-on OCD, and this room still beat my expectations. The AC was spotless, and even the halls and curtains were clean. It looked almost like a brand-new hotel, and the price was right. I’d come back if I need to.

Great location by the restaurants and right off I-20. The rooms were excellent, and the service was outstanding. Had a perfect stay.

We were passing through with the family on our way to Lubbock TX, and I was glad to find a Hilton in town. The staff were all sweet and welcoming. The young woman at the desk suggested a good mom-and-pop place to eat, and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great, with a nice range of choices. We’ll come back when we drive through again in a few weeks.
