Teton Peaks Resort

The location was peaceful and the accommodations comfortable. I appreciated that it's dog-friendly, and they turned on the sauna for us. As winter visitors, that was the only amenity we could enjoy. The motel bathroom smelled of cigarettes when we arrived, but leaving the exhaust fan on helped enough. We liked that locals and resort guests get a coffee discount at the stand by the road. I hope the ecopond, when it's ready, is meant to be a natural swimming pool! 🐸 I'd like to visit again sometime.

I had to cancel because my family couldn't make the trip after all, even though the booking was restricted. They responded quickly by text and phone, understood the situation, and let me cancel the reservation. I'm glad there are good people like that around. If I'm ever in the area, I'd have no hesitation staying with them.

We were there for the Skijoring competition in Driggs, eight miles away, and this was a great spot just off ID33. No road noise reached our room, which was large and super clean. Ours was above the office and had a refrigerator and microwave, handy for warming restaurant leftovers. They give you a short list of restaurants to choose from. A sweet couple manages the location and is very attentive, just ask if you need something. Let the manager know if you'd like to use the sauna, and staff will warm it up. That felt great after a full day out in the weather at Skijoring, and I can imagine using it after skiing or boarding at Grand Targhee Resort. Tetonia Grinders offers Tetonia Peaks Resort guests a free large coffee or 15% off other food and drinks. Camping guests can use the bathhouse laundry, game room, and showers. The laundry looked clean, and the showers looked tidy. There are horseshoe pits and a pavilion with several grills, all with Tetons views. We saw a sign for e-bike rentals, but biking was off-season during our February visit. There is a bike path not far from the resort, though. We'll be camping in the northwestern states this summer and plan to stop in again with our RV.

They came through for us the first night after another place in the next town lost our reservation late at night. We couldn't recommend this resort more, I'd give it 10 stars. New management, a couple, are doing a terrific job, and the onsite team gave us a friendly welcome. Our room was spotless and modern. We saw other options in the morning, including little houses, and there were several amenities we didn't get to use that could make the stay worthwhile on their own for couples or families. Thank you!
