I spent almost a month at the Residence Inn in Covington, Georgia while my home was being renovated, and the staff made it feel like home. It’s conveniently near restaurants and gas stations, and less than a mile from the highway. The room was always spotless, with fresh towels and washcloths each time, thanks to the front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping teams. Breakfast got a little repetitive after the first week, but it was always hot and fresh, and I appreciated not having to cook. Everyone at the desk was polite and welcoming. Special thanks to Shannia, Kearia, KB, Monifa, Olivia, Anne, Shanaveya, and Ms. Shirley for making the stay so memorable. Thanks for your kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this friendly, comfortable, well-managed place in Covington.

The room layout worked well for me, and it was clean and comfortable, with a full-size fridge, two-burner stove, and dishwasher. I didn’t use the kitchen appliances since I was there just overnight, from 29 to 30 January 2026. I booked with points, but at arrival they asked how I’d pay. Luckily, the receptionist found my reservation, and we were able to check in and get late checkout. The room looked out over the parking area and nearby businesses. Breakfast was very good: the egg and spinach quiche was delicious, and there were cheddar biscuits, pastries, muffins, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, fruit, and a coffee bar. A Publix supermarket and a few fast-food spots were within walking distance. There was plenty of parking and the lot was well lit. I didn’t try other amenities, so can’t comment on them, but everything I used was great. I’d stay again.

We spent five days there, three women sharing a large room with two queen beds and a full-size sofa. The full kitchen had all the things you’d need at home to cook and eat, so groceries are all you really need to bring. The pool wasn’t open during our visit.

The hotel itself is new, clean, and nice, but the staff were rude through booking and check-in. At 4 a.m., Covington Police called to say our truck had been broken into. Downstairs, we found its back window smashed and things missing. Two trucks were hit that night. Police told us they patrol the area because this keeps happening there. There are no cameras except at the entrances, so good luck. Prepare for your vehicle to be broken into if you stay here.

The King Studio was lovely, with plenty of storage and outlets. It had a full kitchen with a full-size fridge, two-burner cooktop, microwave over the range, dishwasher, dishes, and coffee maker. There was also an iron and full-size ironing board, plus a huge shower.
