Quality Inn Texas City I-45

The room was fairly clean, and there are restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. I’ve paid almost as much for much worse, but I won’t stay again because of the breakfast. They told me on the phone they offered a full hot breakfast bar, but on the night I stayed, the same night I booked, there wasn’t a single hot item or even coffee. The hotel wasn’t busy, which may be why they chose not to serve hot food, but they shouldn’t have said they would. What was available was stale or close to its expiration date. The rest of the stay was fine.

The elevator was out, the hotel felt rough, and breakfast was a joke. The Comfort Inn next door was the one I meant to book, so this was a big mistake. Choice should downgrade this place to an Econo lodge. You can do better.

The so-called breakfast was a joke, and I can’t understand how this place has any good reviews. The rooms smelled horrible, as did the pillows, and there were cobwebs all along our walls. Everything felt very outdated and poorly maintained. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We’ll definitely return. The hotel was updated nicely, with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, the service was great, and it was good value.
