The hosts clearly take great care of their property and were gracious and accommodating. The clean, beautiful house has a pool, hot tub, and lovely private yard. We especially liked eating at the outdoor table beneath the pergola in Summer, and the kitchen had just been remodeled. Incredible stay, we'll be back!

Our favorite part was spending time together in the gorgeous back yard. The landscaping, deck, and plants make it feel like an oasis. The location also worked well for winery visits on both sides of the river, dinner and browsing in Hood River, and the small local MosierFest in Mosier. It's under a mile's walk to Le Petite Provence, a great bakery downtown, and the local farmers market. Nine of us stayed in this beautiful home. Kevin and Julie welcomed us at check-in with wine, bread, and bananas, then walked us through the house. Though it is over 100 years old, the historic home has been beautifully updated with modern features. We could control the sound system throughout the house with the Sonos app on our phones. There are six bathrooms, including the additional downstairs apartment we rented, and each was fully functional and spotless. The kitchen was better stocked than ours at home, and we had everything needed to make a lovely meal and homemade desserts. The pool was lovely and the hot tub was at a wonderful temperature, but unfortunately the spa jets weren't working during our stay. We'll absolutely return to this gem!

The house is comfortable and close to downtown, while still being in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Kevin and Julie are wonderful hosts who do everything they can to make guests feel welcome. Their breakfast was delicious, especially Kevin's lemon ricotta pancakes, the best breakfast food I've ever had.

We've stayed twice, once in the Master Ensuite upstairs and once in the downstairs apartment. Both spaces were clean and inviting. The master has a lovely bathroom, and the apartment has everything you could need. The pool and hot tub are wonderful, and our daughter had a blast. The garden, patio, and outdoor dining area are spectacular, and breakfast is delicious. Kevin and Julie are what really make the place special. They're lovely people and incredibly accommodating. We plan to stay here whenever we visit The Dalles.
