The balcony on the second floor was a lovely quiet place to catch the breeze among the live oak trees. Inside, the rooms were clean and the antique furnishings made it feel like stepping into history. Breakfast was simple and sweet, with French style yogurt, fruit, breads, and pastries. Just be aware there's no elevator, and the stairs up to the rooms are steep. You'll be fine if your bag isn't heavy.

We had a maintenance problem in our first room, and for the last night they moved us to their largest room. That was a treat. Some rooms are small, and the bed in the first one wasn't very comfortable, but the overall stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was great. They made sure dairy free food was available for our allergy.

The house is huge and lovely, and it's been kept up really well for an old place. Each room has its own character, with the bridal suite the most breathtaking. Service was great, and breakfast was cute and refreshing. It's in a quiet neighborhood. I'd highly recommend it.

My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and this place was super cute. I loved the decor and the story of the house, it feels like stepping back in time. The fresh breakfast was my favorite part, and everything tasted really good. Thanks for everything, Linda!

A woman working there walked my friends and me through the house and explained the wedding setup options, including drinks and food. They're planning to hold their wedding here. The place has a lot of history, and you can rent one of its many rooms for a night or a weekend. At around $80-$90 a night, it's much cheaper than nearby hotels. If you want a convenient, historic place near new Orleans at a great price, check them out.
