For the price, it was a fairly good value. The room was decent, though not very clean, as the photo shows. We only had two towels and one washcloth, and one towel was ripped. The lobby also apparently serves as a clothing and food pantry, which seemed odd. I guess you get what you pay for.

The bed was comfortable, though I’m not sure I’d call those pillows. The people around the parking lot were pretty friendly, if a little sketchy, LOL. Inside, the floor was so sticky I had to keep my shoes on or my socks would’ve stuck to it. The only soap-like thing was an empty “Shower Gel” bottle, a fun discovery once you’re already in the shower. The walls are paper thin, and the dog next door barked every hour. On the stabby scale, I’d give it a solid 8.5.

The only good things about this place were that the front desk staff were nice at check-in and the room was clean then. I stayed seven nights and should’ve left sooner, but kept thinking it might improve. It was a horrible stay, and I was crying when I checked out. Housekeeping made me uncomfortable from the start. While I was bringing in my things, one housekeeper told me someone had stolen $80 from her food stamp card. Then she knocked and came into my room every day to complain and ask for Coke Zero, candy, or a tip. Another housekeeper also came in and asked for a drink. I don’t like people in my room, and my cat is afraid of people, so this upset both of us when I needed rest. I live on Social Security and can’t afford to give staff my things. I did give the housekeeper who came in daily $15 to pass to her boss for something the boss had ordered me on Amazon, because she said the boss would be off on my checkout day. On checkout day, the housekeeper said she’d lost her wallet and needed $15 for a doctor appointment, exactly what I’d already given her for the boss. I don’t know if the right person ever got the money. In my view, the soda and candy I’d already given were enough. Both housekeepers were around while I packed my car, which felt like harassment. One yelled that I was a liar and had never taken a drink from my room. The other begged me for my phone number and asked me not to report her. The hotel was also loud, with people running upstairs late at night. My room often smelled of pot and cigarette smoke, and the ill-fitting door didn’t keep it out. I don’t use either and can’t stand the smell. The guest next door accused me twice of slamming my door, but I barely left my room. He was the one slamming his door loudly. Employees knocked on his door through the day, waking me, then talked and smoked outside mine. I complained twice. A kind woman at the desk spoke to him once, but it got worse. The second time I called, someone said guests could be as loud as they wanted until 10 p.m. In my opinion, employees who live there take over the hotel and are loud and inconsiderate of guests, forgetting that without guests there’s no pay. I didn’t complain again until I left because the earlier complaints did no good. I’m a senior citizen and was afraid of the housekeepers, who seemed so unprofessional that I worried they could hurt me. Corporate emailed me after I complained, seeming to blame me and say I hadn’t complained until checkout. I’d tell anyone who can afford it to stay somewhere else.

The staff were amazingly sweet and understanding, but the rooms were a huge disappointment. They looked disgusting, the outside door had no seal, and the blankets and sheets looked awful. The online pictures didn’t resemble the actual rooms at all, so I left immediately.

Thank goodness this was only an overnight stay. The non-smoking room smelled like 40-year-old cigars, and the TV showed no channels, so we had to cast everything from our phones. There weren’t enough towels and washcloths for my wife, daughter, and me. When I asked for another, I was told to wait for housekeeping, then told there weren’t any extras. With “Inn & Suites” in the name, I expected something more upscale, but I was wrong.
