Riverfront Motel

We had planned to stay three nights, but our travels took an unexpected turn, so we left a day early. As we were packing, a moose walked in front of our cabin, which was super cool! The cabins were clean and comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to welcome us and help with some pretty unusual requests since we were traveling with two medically compromised dogs. They were awesome. We'll be back, and highly recommend this lovely little place.

I was pleasantly surprised to find an indoor pool and hot tub at the hotel, a great little perk. I stayed in a comfortable, clean cabin, and the receptionist was very friendly. The shop inside the hotel had a nice selection of food, clothing, and souvenirs.

The rooms and houses were clean and nice, and the staff were courteous and helpful whenever I needed something. The store had a good selection of souvenirs, and there's a trail down to the river. I'd like to stay here again.

The water pressure wasn't great, and there was a strong sulfur smell. I imagine it's well water. Still, we slept well in the comfortable bed, and the room was very clean, which was a welcome change after the hotel we stayed at the night before. We stayed with Riverfront on Friday, September 12, 2025, and enjoyed the room and the very nice young woman who checked us in. She recommended Wild Coyote Saloon a few miles up the canyon, where we had a delicious dinner. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
