La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park

Anna helped us get settled in record time, even though my husband, our dog, and I arrived tired and eager to check in. She answered all our questions cheerfully and knew her stuff, helping us make the most of our stay. Before us, she’d been patiently assisting another traveler with several important requests and stayed calm until they were sorted. That kind of customer service deserves a raise. Anna was the reason I gave La Quinta by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park five stars.

Good price, easy to reach, and pretty close to the freeway, though you can hear a little traffic. My room was very clean and solid, and the TV had YouTube and Netflix, so I wasn’t stuck with regular cable. I only stayed one night, but would’ve stayed longer on vacation. I’d recommend it.

The rooms and courtyard look beautiful, and the brand new guest room was really comfortable. I loved the huge TV. They’re still renovating, so I’m curious to see how the lobby and breakfast area turn out. I’d gladly stay again.

Hizam, the supervisor, and Miya at the front desk understand customer service. The manager was accommodating too. My room was fantastic and the bed very comfortable, though the landscaping could use some work. I’ll be glad when the lobby is finished and breakfast is available. For now, I’d rate the place 8-10. It should be really nice once the renovation is done.
